Can you reincode mp3z for better quality?

| is it possible to reincode or do something to turn those 128kbs into 192 kbs good quality files? im sure it would be great to have those sets before 2000 in 192. |

no i dont think u can. Otherwise, people could put Livesets up for download at 24kbps and they would be like jack all size. People could download em in no time at all, and then re-encode them later to 192. So as far as im aware, no!

look at it this way if you get a blocky looking .jpg picture and use a program to save it as a bmp file does it not look blocky anymore, no.
once you save in the lower resolution format that information that would make it sound cleaner is lost, so if you make the file 192 its still gonna sound exactly the same. |
