so after that whole argument about above and beyond playing at webster i checked out their website and i found a new sunday afternoon party...this seems all kindsa peachy and fun, i thought YEA...sunday funday is back. but then i looked at the fine print:
MOVIES IN THE STUDIO
FOOD IN THE PEACH AND PINE ROOM
first off...where the should there be space wasted in a club for a movie room...and also wouldn't that lead to a whole lot of drug behavior (dark room, seating) which im actually all for.
Second...Food??? wtf??? and also on that note...what the is a peach and pine room and who thought of putting together those two objects??
All in all...what the is up with webster hall...or as its now knows as...WH

| ill be honest with you...i am good friends with a kid who graduated highschool with the owners son and have spent a lot of time at webster and have always enjoyed my time there. i just don't understand the new managment...thats what doesn't make sense to me |

during the holiday season pacha and other clubs during the week rent out their space for holiday parties
and i remember i read somewhere a few years ago that cielo used to have a sunday day party for parents and their children
they played like disco music and had some entertainers come in
again people AT THE END OF THE DAY...A CLUB IS STILL A BUSINESS!!!

Whats wrong with a club using its space for alternative events? They pay huge amount on rent on the space wether it is open or not. Events liek this help pay the bills just as Fri/Sat night parties. Why is that wierd?
You also cant compare a Made Event party with a Sunday day party.
So what is your suggestion? They book huge djs all the time every day of the week? |

no theyre right....its a business and people have to make money- for a space like that to be CLOSED is just murder to a budget...if theres a way to bring in profit- its done. end of story. theyre smart to do anything that brings in profit. end of story |
