ableton live problem , wont load my projects!

hi, just today i tried to open my projects in live, i have version 6.0.7, and it says to me "C:program files/ableton/live recordings/decoding cache/cache content.idx cannot be deleted" and then you click ok but it doesnt load. then i try again and then it says a serious error has occured and will shut down after the the window is closed.
this is totally weird, never happened b4, has anyone ever had the same problem and know of a cure? i re-installed but same deal. it appears to be happening to all my files! !
any help would be great!

| sounds like a decoding cache problem. Look into that folder for the file the program is talking about and check its properties. It's an index file of your mp3 files that were decoded. It might have been damaged by something. Check if you can delete it. If not, you're in trouble with your hard drive or the file. Anything is possible. |
