Ok, here is all the hardware I have.
Ableton Live 7
Novation SL 49 Compact MIDI Controller (I LOVE IT) http://www.zzounds.com/item--NOVREMOTE49SLC
2x Pioneer CDJ-200
Rane Empath Rotary
A pair of B2030A Truth's from Behringer (surprisingly good)
VSTs.....soon to have omnisphere. I have zeta, nexus, etc. All the essentials.
I just don't know where to go from here. I was thinking about new monitors...but I really believe the ones I have are good enough. I was thinking about setting up a microphone system so I can record vocals but decided against it.
Do I need anything else?
Just continue to practice? |

depends.
do u know your equipment inside out? do u like ableton?
do u find it uninspirational to work on a PC/Mac?
i think you would know yourself when u need something new
you could try native instruments bundle vst (drummachine, sampler, and a few synths). |

i got the B2030A like two years ago. they are very good for the price and loud enough. not the clearest in the mid range but definately very good for the price. |

And for the monitors, they're surprisingly very nice considering they are Behringer. It's hard to recommend a Behringer product, but these things are legit and I would recommend them. I've had them for quite a while. 2-3 years....maybe 4 (I have a terrible memory) |

| If I was you i would go for hardware gear like a virus or nord lead. or something along those lines just so you can get the feel of using hardware equipment. |
