Very good for your first try man. I especially liked the first half - very good programming. I liked the deep sound to it. The only akward part was 03 - Simon Baker, Jamie Jones - Kaskazi - Original Mix. It was kind of akwardly placed, and a little bit too banging that early in the mix.
The second half was pretty good, but not as well put together as the first. I think it would have sounded better if you kept with the sound in the first half or the second half for the whole set, but not both.
Again, very good for your first try. I look forward to hearing more mixes. |

I agree with Graham. I liked the overall mood and the individual mixes were quite good for a first set; however, the higher-level transition from deep to experimental/electro/youknowwhatimean was pretty blunt. It's not the mixing that's at fault, it's just a pretty heavy swing for a 1-hour set.
Me, I preferred the funkier stuff in the first half, but either theme is fine as long as it's consistent. ;) |

good bro... I like it, I get a good sense of beats you like, you're "sound" so to speak... (which I pretty much already knew because of your posts on ta heh)
my favourite song is actually the first track, fun .
Here are some of my notes...

this song is brilliant, but SO overplayed... (was in Roaches 2 hour december set, and SLAM essential mix)
- it sounds like you may have the count wrong (bars timed wrong when mixing) in the song transitioning at around 15 min mark. Either way it sounds a little awkward...
- 34 min mark, sick track
- 45 min mark, I like this part |

| good stuff indeed. similar style to what i like to open with. it appears the general consensus is that track 3 is misplaced. i felt like the set was gonna pick up but instead it leveled off. nevertheless, good work. you use your brothers equipment? |

yeah i know what you guys are saying, i actually did that on purpose and after the first half went a little harder and surprisingly i've had a few people tell me they liked the second part more than the first where you guys liked the first more. I guess it depends on a personal preference but i do agree that the mix should remain consistent since its only 60min in length, thanks ;)

thanks jon, yeah couple of mixes did not go well lol
about the 03 track i don't know why but i found the tune kinda mellow, thats the reason i placed it so early in the set, i guess i should have done it at a later time..
thanks for breaking it down though it will help for the next time ;)
