been to just a few random ones here and there over the past few years but in the past month i've been to 5 house/appt/condo parties already...:nervous:

With word-of-mouth being able to spread quickly due to cells / face-book / etc, the possibility of getting an 'undesirable' crashing your house party really increases unless you do keep it to your "real friends" only.
Then there is the issue of your place getting trashed, stuff stolen, strangers going through your / etc. |

| I would much rather have a party in my home where there is no line up, no coat check, no last call and no meatheads (unless I invite them). I am never disappointed with the music either. |

I was able to hit up three house parties for NYE, and it was a blast. I've been to a few more for bdays since then, and every one of them has delivered.
I just don't like going out for bdays at clubs anymore, so tiring on the mind and wallet. A pints at the bar are fine, but not 'big nights out' bull anymore.
Moving back to sauga has reignited my love for a good ol'house party. |

House parties as are lame if that is the whole night, you just go to someone's house and that's it.
But house parties are great if they are pre parties or my fave, after parties. Sometimes I will be out and just look forward to the after party... |

I'd much rather actually spend time with people than just go out and not be able to talk over pounding club music. |
