| just got home...it was pretty good...i still can't f-ing believe paying $15 plus tip for a drink!!! I hate K&Y for that reason...anyways party was good. After cosmic gate the doors were open to minus with Hawtin spinning! Pretty dope..minus was still going when I left. Anjunadeep was empty. g'night. ps: today i realized dancing alone sux, for PVD let me know where the meet is at... |

i went to Karu & Y before they remodeled and holy fuk. that place was a dump.. hole compared to the way it is now.
that main room is intense. sound and especially the lighting get an A+.
to be honest about anjunadeep room - I completely forgot about it. wish I didn't.
the last person playing did good. above abd beyond were sooo much fun. full review later as I am on my phone.
p.s. woot for a fuking trance party packing the place out! :crazy: quite a rare sight to see. oh and vibe & crowd get an A+ too. |

People have opinions and people see things differently. 1. I got there at two, there were tops 30 people but it seemed dead! I started freaking out thinking it was gonna be like last years Kingdom where it also was empty but then when i got to the main room that was packed, fist pumping full of people. the vibe was great the layout was great the fish smell was gone from last year. Did i say anjunadeep sucked?? Not at all, the last dj was really good. after martin roth I went and chilled there in the coccoons and it was heaven. then outside for hawtin. |

was it ridiculously loud?? when I went in 07 it was way too loud, too many speakers for that room, it was super nice tho [a bit too trendy for my taste] oh & the smell of food walking it was quite a turn off.
glad it was fun!! I shoulda skipped out on Markus on Tuesday & done this party instead cuz Karu is smoke free but I can't get myself to listen to A&B's uber melodic trance :(

there was no smell but yeah it was fuking loud.
i spoke to martin a bit before he went on but i had to go so I didn't see him play.
this goes to everyone I saw - I had to leave early cuz I totally got sunburned (red as fuuuk) so both Datt and I had zero energy.
we left at 430. so sorry from datt & i if we weren't too talkative. looks kinda rude.
i am still drained from that sun. we have been in my bed all day! |

It was more of a commentary on the little respect that room (and its associated talent) was given. I mean, if what you're saying is correct, Anjuna might as well just cater to euro trance fiends next year and be done with any alternatives. Above and Beyond do absolutely nothing for me and are just another fly-by-night pop eurotrance act that will be gone tomorrow and forgotten by all the trendy kids who get lost in rapture at their every cascading synth riff. |
