Staying at a house 15-20 mins away from south beach. Rented a car though as the cost of cabs would add up.

It's mostly for during the day. Just won't drink very much during the day if I have to drive.

I'm only going out 1 or 2 nights anyways and I'll just cab then.

Not sure where it was rented as my friend did it, but I think it was $360 for the week for a ford expedition.

We are staying in the Doral area on the westside of the airport. It is about 10 minutes downtown and 20 min to Sobe. 2 br with separate living room, full kitchen for $139 a night. We stayed there last year and could play music loud during the day.

There are 9 of us staying in two rooms. Also free parking so that adds up with 3 different cars. Some are flying some are driving down. We will be downtown more during the nights and at SOBE during the day. Not a big deal to drive to me. I don't drink. Other stuff wears off quicker than alcohol so my posse is good. Mainly maripills and baked goods =)

I'm at the Castle Beach Club in one of the condos privately owned :) A bit farther North, especially for my first time, but I got a car rented and I think it'll be ok. Not to mention I have cab fare covered at night time (lucky me) :)

Anyone else stayed theree?

Thanks... it was way more expensive with Avis actually compared to our rate. Almost $800 after fees and the like for the same size vehicle.
