Psy Conversion, Elevating Side C + Psy Culture RMX + Old Track from 2007

Hi everyone!
3 new tracks on myspace... or two hehe!
- Into the Darkness: Old track from 2007 ... I like it, so I decided to masterise it and upload it back on myspace!
- Psy Culture RMX: Takouma vs Psy Conversion (a full on version of my old melodic track, Psy Culture) "Takouma is a great producer from my city, Quebec... people here like him and really enjoy his production.... the track we did is also knowed as Nuka Cola RMX.... because some of the bass line and lyrics are from a track he did... Nuka Cola hehe!"
- And finally!! The full-on psycho mix of the incredible Elevator Trilogy hahaha Elevating Side C --- as for his brother, Side A, I worked maybe two months on it!
Very long! but also very progressive.
It should be release on a compilation soon...

As you know, I've been waiting for this version of Elevating Side C!
I see on your myspace that you're only 17, and I'm massively impressed at what you've managed to achieve.
The bass line is pretty good - crisp, hypnotic - everything that full-on demands. Your melodies are suitably psychedelic and evolve nicely.
Constructives:
The song is far too long. You have a lot of great ideas but the track wanders a lot. It shouldn't be longer than about eight minutes in this particular case.
The repeating clapper/snare with the delay on it sounds fairly amateurish. The sample is a bit off and doesn't really fit with the rest of the track. Also, the slow pace of it detracts from the overall energy a bit.
Keep up the good work! You'll get something signed in the next few years for sure! |
