| Hey guys. I'm wondering how you guys avoid neck pain while producing. Sitting at a computer for hours day in day out is really starting to bother my neck. I take a lot of breaks but my breaks seem to be watching tv (sitting), or reading or something (also sitting). What do you guys do to avoid neck pains or a sore back?. right now my neck feels like it's on fire. I'm going for a walk!! |

| Don't produce for hours and hours. Many artist I know with an album or two work for a few hours on the week ends, that's about it..lol |

Take frequent breaks.
Make sure your screen is high enough.
Don't lean forward in your chair.
Swim - a lot.

I have the same problem, i've noticed that since i have began producing my neck always hurts especially when turning around my head. I think it's about the right proportion between your chair and the height of the table. And of course, the screen should be positioned as high as possible. You can see this in many studios.
Btw you should also care about the amount of fat in your ass haha |

| Make sure you have a good ergonomic chair if you spend alot of time at the computer. :) Also try and sit as up-right as you can in the chair. |

get a better chair and also consider standing up while jamming once in a while (if u have a higher desk on the side for example). most important work out.

this is ing wrong, your eyes should rest between 75-90degress!!! :whip: no wonder u have problems man.
also your legs-ass-back angle should be 90 and you should have both feet solidly placed on the ground. try focus on pushing your chest forward and adjust your chair after that. dont be a caveman.
i work in an office 8-10 hours aday then when i come home i sit infront my own computer for 3-4 hours. i dont have any problems with it caus we had training at my work on how to sit properly. rule-of thumb is 90 degress in all angles.
another great tip which i do at work but not at home is to have a bowed desk so you can rest your arms good on it under your elbows. this is a huge help for people with mousesicknes.
