A little bit of background:
Stonebridge was the DJ that got me into house music. I heard his mix (episode 53) back in 2006 and I skipped class to hear the whole thing.
He hasn't been in LA since 1998 (I believe thats the date he said), so I've been waiting 2.5 years to see him play.
To be honest, I did not know what to expect from him, since I've never heard a liveset. I had really high expectations nontheless, and he blew them out of the water, He was also a very cool guy :)
Morgan Page was okay, I thought maybe the starter DJ was a bit better (Jesse Hantla).
The elevate lounge was a very cool place, and their drinks were very strong.
Another cool thing was my name was bolded on the guestlist, and I asked what that meant, and she told me that meant that even if the reached maximum capacity I would still be allowed up. :D |
