Is there a specific sound or something in the song? I've always wondered if they take a long time to name their track or do they just called it whatever pops into their head?? I know we got some producers on here to answer.
DJ NEILSON
produce a good track either based on what they want it to sound like so a name is easier or they might decide aftwerwards and think of an appropriate name to fit the choon.

Paul van Dyk

'Home' - he recorded the sound of the street outside his house and used it as the basis for the track.
'Another Way' - after the MFS 'thing' :haha:
'Pikes' - Made at Pikes hotel
'Out There And Back' - 'The further away you go... the more important home becomes'
'Travelling' - its about travelling.. as a dj you do a lot of it.. the track symbolises an airplane journey..it samples and actual air stewardess

theres a few.

Sometimes it just pops into their heads, sometimes they name it after what it feels like... Sometimes the vocals are already ready so the name is after the lyrics...

Well about 70% of producers make music from the heart so i supose they name the tracks from inside...Most names will have a meaning behind them, I know if i when i start to make music i will name the tunes from inside... :)
