Downloaded it about a week ago...and bought it last night. in amazing...I wouldn't really call this deep and dark...it is deep, but not THAT dark...but who cares...amazing cd nonetheless. I simply love the way CD1 is made. Up to track 7, you could feel it building a little bit, then with track 8, So Pure and track 9, Hungry, the energy is just blasted out. Those 2 tracks are the climax of the CD in my opinion (that doesn't mean that the rest of the cd sucks, or is boring...hehe, far from it) I could really see a club going insane during those 2 tracks.
CD2 is all-around a little more energetic. Hybrid's Visible Noise is simply amazing, although not my fav tune. Very Hybrid-ish :) And the mixing style is amazing too...even though it was mixed on a computer, the timing, and the points where he changed the beats, and mixed in sounds from the upcoming songs are ingenious. I haven't heard many GU releases (still fairly new to the progressive world), but this is definately my favourite...I think. Hard to choose between this one and Seamans GU22.
10/10

this Nubreed while good really dosent do it for me. Disc 1 if far better than disc 2 which imlistening to now, it's putting me to sleep.
I think Nubreed need some fresh new faces with different styles the only one ive really got into is Pappa's . all in a solid cd nothing special though. |

Yes, I'm from Stockholm, it's not easy finding quality music over here. House is a bit easier than trance tho.. I really believe that Canada must be better for finding good musc than Sweden..
Anyhow, I bought this album a couple of weeks ago.. And I can't stop listening to it. I love CD1 and all those dark tribal tracks, especially Samsara - Afterthought... CD2 is not as dark, but just as good IMO! |
