Last Labor Day the Roger Sanchez gig @ Wet Friday (day) was fairly slow imo. There was barely a small group of people dancing.

too bad...but not quite being the weekend yet that doesn't surprise me...

we went to his gig later that nite at Tabu and it was busy but that is such a small venue it doesn't take a lot to pack it...Boris played a lot better music that nite anyway...

Ya, I wanted to go to that, but I got stuck at a Poker table. The small venue deterred me I think. Looking forward to seeing him my first night in Miami March 25th @ Mansion. I think I'm invited to a wedding Memorial Weekend so prob no Vegas for me this year :(

I prob won't mind taking a Sunday trip for Morillo @ Tao. He has a date @ Avalon, but it just isn't the same. Being that it is a Made In Brazil night might spice up the Avalon gig a lil.

Agreed.

Morillo at Avalon ≠ Morillo in Vegas.

I heard in an interview of his there are only a handful of places he plays extended after hours sets, and one of them was in Vegas. He also likes playing there too.
