I was testing out new hiking boots for Peru next week.
Went for a good long walk/hike. No issues, no blisters, no spills, & the most insignificant slip imaginable. My left foot slid maybe6 inches. That was Monday.
Wake up Tuesday morning, & for the last 2 days, the left foot has been killing me.
Went to the clinic today & the doc says it's either a soft tissue/muscle injury (which means ice, elevation, rest, & ibuprophen/anti-inflammatories will help) or it's a hairline stress fracture of one of the metatarsals. |
