Forté Productions and Hardt & Soul are happy to announce the return of Mike Shannon to Chicago. Berlin-based Mike Shannon will be playing at Smartbar on Thursday, February 12, 2009 alongside Popkan, Gianna Hardt, Hernan Sanchez and James Lauer. If you missed Mike Shannon’s November’s debut, now is your chance to see the acclaimed DJ, producer, label head. If you were at the Viaduct Theater in November, you know the hotness that Mike brings.
Mike Shannon has been on the forefront of the international techno and house scene as a producer for over ten years. Now, having relocated to Berlin from Valencia via Montreal in 2007, he’s has crowned his first decade of production with Memory Tree, this is his third full length album to date, and his debut for another notable Canadian export – Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 label.
He has continued working in the studio, as well as touring, so we can expect some new hotness soon.
