Hola all,
Hope you're well.
Been working on my new single. Up to the point where I think I need some feedback on it.
http://www.scottrichardson.com.au/m...hetikDreams.mp3
I know I need to work on the drop into the main bassline at the 1min mark... and I need to work on the build up before the main drop at the end of the breakdown.
thinking I need to do something with the break before the outro.. after the main section.... Need something for some contrast. I already have an alternate bass progression running there.. but need something synth-wise that's unique.. maybe some acid style bass/saw fx or something.
Any feedback on the mixdown would also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Scottie |

I really like the sound, awsome tune
the mixdown is pretty muddy, you should cut a bit on the mid and low frequenties of your synths. Also maybe alot reverb |

Thought i'd leave some feedback after listening to this.
Really enjoyed listening to it. Especially like the kick, sits really well.
As Sh!fty said though, slightly muddy. You have some really great elements in there and I really like the progression of the track as well.
The transition into the bassline seems a little rushed, as you highlighted.
Agree with you on the last break. Perhaps a large filter sweep with some panned acid fx that you could filter in and out? Just a suggestion.
Really like this. Interested to see a finished product. :) |
