Can then somebody tell me why can't we have anymore some recorded sets from all those dj's who pass by circus or other venues?

Is there a copyright issue or something else?

Aria days was just special cause we had the right people at the right place. Nobody really interested or can record anymore except for Jesse.

proof he was not too bad lol...

This night was my first time setting foot in Aria, or any afterhours for that matter. What a way to pop your clubbing cherry; Tiesto and Armin in the same night. Can't believe this was 6 years ago now!

Even if it really was starting to get horrible near the end, that club during its heydey was the reason we complain so much now. The bookings were so ing awesome.

amen. when aria was in its prime, nothing could stop it in terms of talent and bookings. it's definitely left a big void since it closed down

It was my 2nd time at aria ever, but definitely one of the best. This was the video that makes me think of it the most: LETHAL INDUSTRYYYY

most recent are creator sets and alex bau.

i'll have to retrace them all, but i remember a few in 2005-2006, mostly given on cd the second time around, i recall dj donato (italy) doing that in 2005... i've seen less and less since then... probably now djs choose themselves to record and / or give it away or release it... they all have their computers or recording devices to do so; i know some sets were recorded but artists kept them.

when you have a radio show these sets become a sort of competition i guess.

don't really know the explanation trying to logically figure out why...

red lite sells red lite mix compilations, bal en blanc also... and i guess some djs record themselves too over there.

Need to rant here!

Anyone else get the feeling if Aria reopened and booked the same DJs it still would not even be close to what it used to be? Watching those old videos I get this crazy flashback feeling and I try to figure out what made Aria so good. Im always questioning this heh. I guess the fact that im much older now changes a lot? Do kids going out to Circus for there first couple times get the same buzz(sober) that I did when I used to go to Aria? Was it those particular years in Montreal? The people? Wtf was it that made that place so amazing !?

PEOPLE were partying way different then

People were there to dance and listen to music

now people are going in after-hours like it's a club

i don't agree at all... sorry

a large % the afterhour crowd hates clubs...

not the same experience at all, all are there for the dancing.

anyways i don't get the point of saying that today or then is better... i can testify that it is still as fun lol wouldn't be doing this...
