Skills did an awesome job with this party! The stage set up and lasers was nicely done.

The DJ's all played great sets and the place was pack from Balcony down to the main floor.

in addition to that I was amazed of how big that place is, they have three other rooms which where big in size..

set of the night Thrillseekers, which was one of the most banging sets I have heard from him, he took over from Marco V and did not bring it down!!

I got there at 10, but didn't get into the building until just after 11 so I missed Blix Cannon's set which was a disappointment, but from what I heard they kicked ass. I stayed in the main room most of the party and had an amazing time. The vibe was fantastic, Dyloot spun the best set I've heard from him, Martin Roth was solid as always, and Marco V ing destroyed.

I thought the thrillseekers was pretty mediocre. His tracks were cheesy but they fit the mood at the time so they were alright, but I thought his mixing was pretty poor. He kept bringing in tracks without really beatmatching them beforehand, instead trying to do it with both tracks playing out to the crowd which led to some pretty crappy mixes. He also clipped more than everyone else combined. I think he spent too much time posing and pretending to be doing stuff (twisting knobs at the ends of breakdowns, etc) and not nearly enough time working on actually mixing. I didn't even see him wearing headphones, but I wasn't close enough to be sure. I would have gone to another room but the atmosphere in the main room was just too good to pass up. The crowd really was digging him after all.

Lighting and sound were great. I loved it when they lit up the whole room with super bright light at the end of a few of those particularly filthy breakdowns.

Overall it was a ing awesome party.

The Thrillseeker himself did drop it hard that night for sure. Set of the night for me has to be Martin Roth. The guy played some awesome tunes and his mixing was on point like no other. Does anyone know what remix of "Off the World" he played. I thought I had most of them but never heard that one. Good for sure!!

Marco V didn't do it for me which was disappointing because he was the reason I came. Just wasn't to impressed with his track selection. Didn't fit the party imo. Would have gone real nice in a club environment but not rave.

The Thrillseeker rocked it for sure. I was kinda pissed at 4 am when everyone was yelling "One More Song"!! and he didn't play one. Would have been epic if he dropped "The Last Time". It was kinda strange actually... he was getting the crowd all hyped up after he turned the music off like he was gonna play one more and then didn't. The guy still had a hard and solid set though.

Good party over all :D :D :D

This was such a great Party!!!
The venue was awesome! It went on and on for Days and every room was nice and big.

The lights and lasers where great and the Dj booth in the main area was nice. Liked where the booth was at in the house area as well. Nice and close :)

Was pretty much in the main area all night. Enjoyed everyone's set. But imo The Thrillseeker's and Marten Roth where the best!!! Marco V was all right.. after 20 or so minutes he does seem to get repetitive. I went to cool off and look for the house room but was in the state of mind where I got lost! :haha: so I aborted that adventure and went back to the main room! :haha:

Oh just an FYI Steve did play one last song. He wanted to play one more even had the CD ready but they won't let them. At most bigger parties 4am really means 4am!!

Thank you Skills for throwing such an awesome event! :D

Edit: one of the funniest parts of the night when one girl came up to Greg and thought he was Marco V! :haha: she went on and on about how she had a huge crush on him and how he touched her hand after a gig! Greg was trying to tell her he wasn't but she did not believe him! :haha: I finally had to show a picture with Marco V and Greg for her to get it! :haha::haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

Ya I kinda figured that he would have got in trouble if he played one more, but damn it would have been so sick if he did!!

what up man, you make it elsewhere before going to the massive? we stayed in after all. took advantage of the jacuzzi tub instead, and again sunday before check out. Hit up farmer brown for brunch and mimosas, then headed home after 3pm. missed the all star game, oh well. turns out serrano DOES have double beds but i guess u booked with just 2 in mind. When is the next trip? Mine is April 17th weekend(my birthday) already got a room at the hotel under $85 on hotels.com today. :gsmile:

Pretty much went to this because we were alrready up there and figured wtf, might as well. This was one of the best raves I've been too. Maybe its because it was 18 and over or just a different crowd than we get in SoCal. It was a really fun crowd. The Regency Event Center is an amazing and beautiful facility. I was surprised they were allowed to throw an event like that there. Each room was huge and on a different floor so they didn't interfere with each other. Sound was good as were the lights, decorations, DJ booth etc.

Martin Roth's set was great. Loved his tracks and energy. Even though I've wanted to see him forever, this was my first time seeing Marco V and was really looking forward to it. I thought he did a pretty good job but it was a little bit of a let down after Roth. Maybe I'm in a different place musically these days. Thrillseekers came on and he pretty much killed it. Loved his set. He really did want to play one more track but they wouldn't let him. Afterwards, he said that was the best crowd he had ever played for.

Btw, it wasn't Steve's poor mixing causing the clipping, the sound guy told me that Marco V had blown out some of the speakers.
