| Um...has anybody read this article on the MSN homepage about the first "Napster-Proof CD"? Yes...the world's first CD that you can't rip, yet. Hopefully somebody finds out a way to rip it cause this will just suck if the industry starts to make all CDs like this. Go here to read the full article: http://www.msnbc.com/news/550565.as...=http://msn.com |

Leave Us Alone!
To All the people who are trying to stop the SHARING of music!
I mean when all of us were kids our parents, teachers, taught us to SHARE. Now your teaching kids that sharing is bad. Do these people realize what they are doing to society? There is some stupid people out there. Worry about these kids who are bringing uzi's to school and opening fire on everyone. |

Music sharing can never be stopped. Pirates are always one step ahead of the music industry. Everything that has been said to be rip-proof becomes ripped a few days later. It's just the way how it works, and the music industry can do nothing about it. They pay a lot of money to make their cd-s rip-proof, but all this money is wasted because some wizzkid finds out a way to get around the protection, makes a programme or crack which can be understood or installed by anyone and the industry is back at the point where it started.
Personally I don't buy CD-s either, because it's like tc-fan said: Cd-s usually come in a mix, and I don't need that, unless it's a liveset. Any sad prick can do some studio-mixing. Good live mixing indicates the quality of a dj.
By the way: I still don't understand why Napster is forbidden and filtered and stuff. Most people download music to see if the CD is worth to be bought. If the music industry is against this: does that mean that the cd's they sell are so full of rubbish and are they afraid they won't sell any? Furthermore: mp3 is not a real copy of an original, because the quality is much lower.
Well, this is just my opnion. What do you guys and gals have to say about this matter? |
