Any of you get em?
I've gotten them since I was a teenager. The first couple were so bad that I would've killed myself due to the pain if I'd have had the means. Luckily I then went 7 years without having any problems. Then three weeks ago I began having trouble. I've been hopped up and strung out on pain meds for almost three weeks straight while trying to go to school and it's sucked. On top of that I've been taking Flomax so I've had to piss like a racehorse non-stop and if I stand up too quick I pass out.
I just passed that bastard and it wasn't a moment too soon. I was scheduled to have an "invasive" procedure tomorrow morning to take it out. I can't tell you how relieved I am.
So, am I alone? Anybody else cursed like I am? |

| one of my friends has a stone factory in his kindey. Poor guy has had them removed 10 times by now. Poor bastard says he sometimes has to piss them out. Ouch. |

I pissed mine out this time. I'll take that over having it taken out any day. There are just some holes where things shouldn't be shoved whether you're unconscious or not. :nervous: |

No but I feel your pain. I suffer from pancreatitis and the nurses and doctors told me that the only thing close to the pain is having stones or being in labor. I wanted to kill myself a few times. |

You gave a link to it below, but you can break up some stones with lithotripsy. Mine was a fairly large stone and the problem is that if you break up one big stone, you can be left with several smaller, but still painful and obstructive stones, that you still have to pass. Sometimes you break one up and the smaller pieces come out with no problem. Other times you break up a big stone and are left having to pass several smaller stones that hurt just as much. |
