:disbelief

Yeah, I have met Alex Jones. Interesting fella and very nice. He's extreme, but does make some valid points.

I do in fact believe that we're being sold a line of bull by the Federal idiots running this country. China is worried about the safety of US Treasuries....
March 13 (Bloomberg) -- China, the U.S. government’s largest creditor, is “worried” about its holdings of Treasuries and wants assurances that the investment is safe, Premier Wen Jiabao said.

“We have lent a huge amount of money to the United States,” Wen said at a press briefing in Beijing today. “I request the U.S. to maintain its good credit, to honor its promises and to guarantee the safety of China’s assets.”

The Bloomberg Article... read...

John Stossel had a great special on the "Economic Crisis". He agrees with me and so do many economists.... All of this bailout/stimulus is making the situation worse. Buy artificially propping up the markets with capital injections and bailouts, a natural bottom will no occur. This MUST happen before we can have a healthy recovery. The media has taken the side of an out-of-touch Congress (to say it lightly) in regards to the economy.

Again, idots with degrees are running the country.

I know this is a serious issue but on a lighter note, I just bought a shirt off of eBay that says 'Where is My BAILOUT' and another one that says 'I have your stimulus package right here' with an arrow pointing to the crouch. I thought they needed to be wore for some political humor so I bought them. :p

Legalize it... Freeze taxes for 6 months and close the borders for 90 days.

I have to defend Alex Jones here because he is at least doing something against this in just system and doing it in a public fashion as well. Of course 99% of it falls on deaf ears or 75% of it is information people already know but he deserves a lot of credit for his life's work. He is not just hiding behind some turntables in a random bedroom playing a new vocal mix. This comment is not directed at everyone...only the dude that called him a tool.

Alex Jones is no more of a tool than you are. Your a tool to the EDM world like most people on this site. Of course Alex Jones and his films and interviews are propaganda just like every medium in this world. No one has the freedom to make any sort of medium without infusing it with ideals to make you see their point of view and also being forced to infuse this brainwashing in their medium to keep that system going on & on. Anyone who could school us in a film about history, economics, ethics will be just like a moth to a flame when it comes to acting "toolish" People think that just becuse someone is a conspiracy theroist that they must be above the "tool" factor. Also the Obama Deception is his worse film to date IMO, It looked like it was thrown together really fast. But even your lovely EDM stars make fast/crappy remixes that are unbearable to listen to also. You need to watch EndGame by Alex Jones or if you don't like Alex Jones then check out Zeitgeist both are on youtube. And if you already know all this information in these films then give some credit because I bet you couldn't put together a 2 minute commerical on any subject of this magnatude.

Can't buy into this one. I'd rather the whole country sank into depression than inflict that goddamn slave drug on the population at large, taxable or not.

I do, however, agree fully with the sidenote. No mercy. :whip:

by legalization, i think it referrs to making marijuana a 'prescription' drug, available to everyone who has an illness. If children are encouraged to consume methylphenidate while in high school, why shouldn't doctors re-inforce (re-educate) the population on the benefits of responsible marijuana use?

rockefeller knows why, because...this is a land of workers, not thinkers. ;)

I am on the fence so to speak on this subject. First I don't think anyone (governments) should have the right to tell us what we can and can't put into our bodies. Hell, the kids these days are so much taller & developed than when I was a kid due to all the hormones in the dairy. And cancer is higher than ever due to all the procesed food and then carbonation drinks are sucking the iron out of our bodies floride in the water and basicly we are forced to eat/drink (consume) these products because not everyone can afford to shop at wholefoods or grow their own cattle or they are just to busy to keep a garden in the back yard up to par everyday because we work and have lifes to live. You can make an argument that if your poor its your own fault for not educating yourself better so you can have a better job to equal more money to equal better ability to by more natural foods but lets face it, people are for the most part a product of their enviorment. Ok, so we are forced to eat/drink products that kill us by our own government but we can't smoke some weed??? I don't see the logic in that unless I look at what Chris Rock said: "Only the white man can prosper from pain" So you could say since the best drugs aren't made in America or you can say the most quanity of drugs aren't made in America and that's why it's illegal. But then if weed was legal, this is my other foot on the other side of the fence on this subject. How would society function if everyone was stoned. There would be less murders and less robberiers because weed is cheap and it really doesnt make you violent. But overall we live in a status quo country and that can't be changed. Even if everyone quit their job all at once, then all that would happen would be another country to come into USA and rule us and make us work like slaves for "free" !! Why be a slave for free when you can get paid to work? Legal weed would make people lazy and fat and change the countries moral code. I know some people smoke weed everyday and go to the gym and hold a highly demanding job and are very smart.. etc.. etc...but morals and ethics would change if weed was legal. We just don't think it would change because it hasn't happened but it would have to take it to happen for people to see how America would change for the worse. If it was to be legalized it would need some restrictions on how much one can smoke and of course where one can smoke. America just wouldn't be able to adapt to Amsterdams moral code as fast as people think it would be able to. But if any drug should be legal it should be weed. I just think if it was legal it would be so highly abused that America would crumble because lets face it Amsterdam is a place mainly for tourist while America is so much larger and a place we have to live and most of us never will leave America. I wrote this fast so please look past loopholes in what I wrote but feel free to give me your opioion on this subject because like I said, I am on the fence on this subject.

+1

but it would take decades of re-education on the subject of Marijuana consumption before it would be used correctly and still allow a functioning society

proof? anyways, i believe that has more to do with genetics than anything else. don't blame the govt because you are not as big as your former school matess.

blame? that would insinuate jealousy and that isn't the case at all. I agree a lot of it is genetics but if you think that there isn't growth hormones being put into cattle and then those hormones come out of that cow into dairy and meat products, then you need to educate yourself a bit more. Plus I am 5'11 and living in San Antonio, I am actually considered averagely tall. I don't get where you think I am jealous because a 8th grader is taller than I?
