Should I include a separate piece of paper of track names with a promo mix CD I am handing out?

when i send out a promo online, i ALWAYS put a tracklist... but when I give them out in person, i just print them out looking super sexy and give em away.

for online stuff people need more than just a link unless they are your close friends, most people online want to have an idea of what they are getting into-

Yeah, I'm referring to giving the mix out in person specifically. I actually just posted this mix in the DJ Promotion section recently, tracklisting included. The link is in my sig (but noone on TA seems to be noticing it :(). Thanks for the feedback.

It's because there are hundreds of mixes that get posted weekly there, and most are of the same genre/style. Have to offer something different to get noticed.

Yeah I completely understand. Having listened to many many sets however (some of them on TA), I'm really not lying when I say that mine is something special ;).

You could start by changing the thread title from "At last!...", because that turned me off it almost immediately when I saw it last week.

Also, you may want to be a bit more humble ("Not to blatantly self-promote, but it is a very solid mix"?). Based on your tracklist alone, your set isn't anything special. I don't generally listen to that kind of music and I know pretty much every artist in there.

Yeah I see where you're coming from, but since my name has no recognition on TA, I thought I should put something else in the title.

You mean it has to be tech/deep house.
