just a couple days ago i was bored at work and i was doodelin around on some paper and i started to write a poem. something i have never done cause i have no writing skills what~so~ever. but they actually came out ok. not great but ok.. i was wondering if anyone has any poems they have written that they would like to share. id share mine but i forgot exactly how they go and they are at home but ill bring them to work tomorrow and put em up. =)

| Yeah, I've actually got a bunch of them. Like you, I'd never written one either. Then, thanks to a woman and a bad case of unrequited love, I went through this phase like 6 years ago. I actually placed first in a contest and won $500. Pretty cool. Anyway, if you'd like to check 'em out they're here |

only time i write poems, or anything as such is when i'm frustrated with things. i then use poems to release that frustration, and let some feelings out in a positive way. i will not share my latest poem, it is just too deep, and you guys would probably think i'm nuts :crazy: haha...

Hmm.. Been a while since I wrote any prose. I'll post this one I wrote some 5 years ago:
In the Twilight of the morning hour
The stillness is silent and the air is breathless.
When darkness welcomes all to sleep,
I will welcome your embrace,
Know the velvet warmth
Of baby rabbits close to me.
And know nothing else
but the serenity that bathes my soul.
As my eyes crumble and close
Into mortal bliss,
Time will hold its breath,
For always. |
