Summer Set Fillers

Im busy writing a tracklist for a set ehat myself and a friend are going to be playing two weeks on saturday, weve got nearly 4.5 hours to fill and im a bit stuck on some choonz to fill up the set. Ive got some great summer anthems to spin but i cant play anthem after anthem. Any sugegstions?! tracks can be old or new. anything thats not well heard of, b-sides, stuff like that. any suggestions please let me know. anything i dont already have ill be burning to CD-r since the club is providing some pretty mean equipment to use..

Hey i just got some great news...I have been invited to spin at a party. Its a house party but the house is HUGE. I done a set there about 7 month ago and it was in sweet... Well i have looked through all the tunes that have been recomended in this thread and i am going to start downloading the ones i havent....The lad said i should take about 3 hours worth of tunes because they got about 4 DJs going to cover about 10 hours....
I will play about 80% of my set with 12" and the other 20% With CDs...I got a early set so i gotta start nice and smooth...Very calm and relaxed...
I will be spinning from 12am - 3pm...The decks are in the front room and i swear down theres about a 40 metre dance floor....They are patio dorrs that will be opened so the sun will be shining through...It will be sunny so i gotta drop sweet summer tunage !! :):):):):) Im in a sweet mood now :):):):) |
