Now this is what I call quality progressive house. This album is an absolute bomb from start to finish.

'It's All Gravy Baby' is absolutely massive !

Anyone else feeling this one?

I never thought I'd say this, but I kinda got bored with Derek's sound the past year once the innovation was gone and his gimmick lost its power. But I'm going to give this album a fair chance none the less, he's still got that much credit left. The tracks on this album that have already been released (I'll never forget to remember, it's all gravy baby) were decent, but they missed that special something that for instance his first Bedrock EP's or Funk It had. But maybe the new tracks deliver some proper Derek Howell magic again. Too bad Ambiguous Venture isn't on the album, I really like that one. :)

I can say that there is probably only two tracks that would resemble any of his 20041 Bedrock stuff. Namely tracks 1 and 5. However, there is no reason to shy away frmo this release.

Most tracks have an electro twist to it and as much as I despise the whole electro stuff, these tracks are starting to grow on me after a couple of listens.

An album defintely worth checking out.
