This was on the local news last night. Its horrible but I couldn't help but laugh when I heard the audio. The owner was really at fault calls over a friend (55 yr women) to help her with her out of control 200 lbs chimp. ya its real, the thing ripped off her face, and bit off her hands.
supposedly it ran away when the cops came (after being stabbed by the woman), and then came back later. it ripped off the side mirror from the car with one arm then ran around to the passenger side of the cop car, OPENED THE ING DOOR, and tried to attack the cop inside. the cop shot it a couple times point blank, and it ran away (after being shot). they found it dead in the owner's house.

Yea, trained or pet animals are motivated at least a little by fear and anxiety to behave. Give that chimp some xannies, and he's anxiety free and much less fearful, probably more likely to act on his violent urges.
Chimps are ing violent, much much moreso than gorillas. They rip off eachothers arms, legs, and genitals regularly.
