burns you sound like a guy who got his ass kicked regularly in high school :haha:
sometimes you have to fight. It isnt really an issue.
the only other advice I can give is messed up but it works...Fantasize about beating people up. Sit there and close your eyes and imagine the fight playing out in your eyes. That way the next time a situation comes up like that your body can start doing the actions and saying the words it needs to to have that plan carried out. Punching bags really help. Just imagine its someone you wanna maim :)
but I dont like fighting all that much. I do it as a last resort |

I must say some of the things here make me sick read.
There's only a couple of reasons to why I'm willing to fight:
1 Threaten/hurt children
2 Threaten/hurt my family or friends
3 Hit a woman
4 Threaten/hurt old people
You can yell, shout and act tuff to me, I don't give a , but if you try to hit me I'll do my best to knock you down. |

| Well I'm even afraid to box with my friends and my older brother. Not sure what exactly it is but I just feel weird about it :( I may want to knock someone out but even then I don't fight, I've been so mad I've wanted to kill someone and never fought. It might be that I'm afraid to get hit but pain doesn't bother me so i dunno.... |

I dont think youve ever had someone like my bro yell at you :)
that guy can scare the out of me. benches 350 and been boxin for 10 years. Hes ing huge, and Ive actually seen him make men cry before just by yelling at em. Its cool if you arent gonna back down, but there is no way you can say you arent scared in a fight situation. Ive never lost a 1 on 1 and every time it happens I still get that anxious feelin. Fights are scary, and I dont care who it is, you know that in a fight anything can happen, and its frightening. The fact that hes yelling isnt scary, its the words, the messed up "you gonna die biotch" message hes sending.
The reason I say messed up things is #1 because fights are serious. Very serious. A sock in the back of the head can kill you and a lot of people dont know that. so if you are gonna fight, FIGHT. Anything less than your best will cause more hurt to you. #2 It avoids fights. Im a normal guy, strong christian. I say bad things to avoid having to beat them up. In some cases I am wrong and I ask forgiveness for that. One thing you will realize is that the good fighters dont like fighting. It makes me sick when I look at someone crumpled on the ground. I HATE doing it, but sometimes you get forced into a situation that is out of your control and you have to act. I dont proactively persue fighting. I avoid and walk away. But when someone corners you and there is no "turn the other cheek" you dont let them beat you up. You defend yourself. and like I said a good defense is a good offense. You make it so THEY walk away, thus uncornering you. The people who have never been in fights, or not serious ones, are the ones saying "thats really harsh how can you do that?". Get into a situation where some guy is punching a woman in the face and then tell me how sweet and gentle you are gonna be |

I've never gotten in a fight before.. probably because everyone in my school is too scared to say anything to me that would encourage a fight.. something about me tends to intimidate people, and that is a good thing at times.
If i did have to fight, I would probably not want to.. just the thought of beating away at someone.. I couldnt bring my self to do it. I seriously couldnt hit someone with the hardest punch i could throw,, just isnt in my nature. But then if someone started the fight, and was beating me into the ground, I would reconsider. |
