Lulu Rouge is comprised of DJ T.O.M. (Trentemøller’s touring partner and right-hand for the last three years) and Buda, a well-respected DJ and producer on the Copenhagen scene.
i can't remember the last time i was so taken aback by such dark, haunting, moody music. it usually isn't really my thing but this album sucked me in from the first track and didn't let go until the very end. it's an interesting mix of dub, ambient, techno, and downtempo with some really great featured vocalists.
the album also feels very cohesive from beginning to end - something i think a lot of artist albums lack. |

Yeah, this is very good. You can hear similarities with 'Last Resort' (not that it's a bad thing). |
