how do all the dj's go around without someone having the exact same name as them? is there like some place where you can register your dj alias so noone can steal it or something :eek: cause that wouldn't be cool and i've got a good one ready and i don't want anyone to take it!! i searched google, and noone has the same one. it's really unique :eyes:

| there isnt a place you can register your dj name... just start using your own, but first check that there isnt a dj using the same name in your area... if there is in another city, far away, thats fine, cuz you're both locals... |

| yeah its fine up to a point. if your releasing under that name, there are laws though i.e. you cant release somethign under DJ tiesto as the artist name... however again, there are exceptions. when people first write a song they have it protected by the solicitor so they can proove they wrote it on 'X' date incase it is stolen etc.. bare that in mind if your becomming serious :) |

u can't really control it.. I found a few other guy's using DJ Chrono.. not big guys though. Best way to preserve ur name is register the .com! THats what I did!
so now no other dj chrono can have the site. |

i think there are some deejays on TA forums...wonder how they came up with their names...or producer aliases....like project t = cryolite, and dj dawn ...producer/dj's..hmmm..yeah...

i think now a days.. that have a computer program.... that they use.. to register all the names.. from every group, band, dj.. name available..
so it does this sorta search thing.. when you type in the name you want.. ... but hey that can only be my dreaming world.. hehe..
but i'm betting you have to register the name.. under the mangaement.. and it's copy writen:eyespop: :tongue3 |
