Hi guys,
I'm located in the bay area (CA) and I have fairly recently acquired a vintage Oberheim OB-Xa synth and I was wondering you guys that are in the area can recommend any techs that can repair one. It is a true analog synth so I would like to take it to a pro. So, do any of you have analog equipment and can recommend a repair guy? Any advice is appreciated. |

Check out a company called analog haven in CA. These guys are real pro's and if they can't fix it then it can't be fixed. |

Thank you for the suggestion, however I'm looking for someone that is in Northern California; as with the flight case the synth weighs around 100 lbs and I don't want to pay for shipping. I see from their website they are located in Pomona. I will keep them in mind though, I do have family in Southern CA and I might visit them sometime soon. |

there's a place in san diego called ProSound but your best bet is to get on the Analgue Haven yahoo group mailing list and ask them who's the best tech in the area. In fact most of the people on that group are techs :) |

So I checked, and the mailing list link on their website is down, and I couldn't find a Yahoo group for Analogue Haven, however I did find a group for Oberheim so I posted my question there. Thanks. |
