It's just entrance. You get to hear live music and walk around some closed off streets. Oysters are extra and there are no savings to oysters because it's a fest. Quite the opposite happens, where vendors charge you MORE because they have to pay back the fee of being part of the event and transportation.
As I told you on chat, if you love oysters, go to Steamhouse on Wednesdays for $5/dozen and Fontaine's in the Highlands on Tuesdays for $5/dozen. They are gulf oysters, so they're not as tasty as colder water oysters. |
