Amsterdamn Question

Hi,
I am considering to visit Amsterdam for the weekend. Since driving there would be cheaper than taking a train, I was wondering if there are Park and Ride spots outside the city. i remember that last time i was in Amsterdam, there was no place to park inside the city.
If there is P&R, how much is it and how much are train tickets downtown?

The park & ride spots are called a Transferium. There is one near the Ajax Soccer stadium , the Amsterdam Arena. You can park your car there and take the train or metro to the innerheart of Amsterdam.

Greg!! I've been out the last days, that's why I didn't reply to your calls :p
I was gonna mention the Transferium underneath the ArenA aswell. It's mentioned on the boards at the side of the road. ArenA is in the southwest of Amsterdam. Look for signs that say either " transferium" or " Amsterdam ArenA" .
There's a trainstation, a busstation AND a metrostation outside the stadion :)
Dunno my appointments for this weekend (think I have to work Friday and Monday)..but I'll try and see if I can make it to Amsterdam on Saturday :)
btw...got my tickets to Love From Above!!!!!! 18,50 EURO!!!!!!! :) |

| i while ya in amsterdam why not drop by here in nijmegen, it's only 2 hours on the road! nijmegen is a city you must see atleast once in ya entire life!! sacred ground m8! :D:D i'll give you a tour :) |

| If I take a car (50/50 chance right now) I will drop by, otherwise, I think it would be a lot of trouble, since i would need to get a train etc. and I am only around for 2 days :( |

And when exactly are you arriving? There's an "I Love Trance" party in Amsterdam on June 14. I have to work but mebbe you + freunde will enjoy it :) |

It's in the Cubic (same club as the Kremlin parties)....very cool place to check out :)
