way to offer a constructive response. it is relevant. you were making fun of people saying the right to own a gun is a natural right in response to a child using a gun to kill a pregnant woman. I said a knife could have been just as effective. explain to me how I got confused. since you said it though, what issues? |

Knives aren't "just as effective" as guns, and I don't think it's at all realistic to propose that every single murderer who used a gun would also have been willing to use a knife. I suspect it takes a much stronger desire to kill to get within a couple feet of someone and actually slip a blade in and out of their body a few times than it does to shoot them from across the room. Although I guess I can't know for sure, since I've never tried either. |
