If everyone would just follow the Golden rule and treat everyone like themselves then everything would be fine, but there are those few evil people out there that drag others down with them and away from Christ. Let me just tell you one thing:
People are suffering(mostly woman), in some arabian and middle-east contires just because they have to be religious.
Why do they have to?
-Probably because they thnk they'll die if they don't.
(And maybe they will!!)
Who ever tries to proove the opposite, will probably get killed. Why?
-Probably because 2 many people believed in it in the first place.
Religion is just an excuse and a good way of controlling people!!!!!
And why the hell is the bible and the Koran so important??
I'd never read like that. I don't need instructions on how to live my life. It's my life, not a new Samsung TV!
Obviously people who don't know how to live a life read them.And I'm talking about people who read them voluntarily. And it looks like you are one of them...
The best solutions would be to burn all copies, and make sure this thing disappears from society.

People can believe whatever they want, as long as that doesn't make the ignorant, anti-sematic, preachy, or delusional.... I just find it conveniant how religion gives comfort to people who need reassurance for our existance, I don't need any... Life is much more interesting and exciting knowing nothing about our universe.... And besides who would believe a story told so long ago, back then if the moon turned red they thought god was angry! Imagine what they thought of lightning storms, or forrest fires... OH NO an angry god, lets sacrifice some virigins... hahahaah..
Hey whatever makes you happy can't be bad, just don't forget to think for yourself, don't let religion do it for you, thats all I ask :)

exactly! dont believe something without question just because that is what was taught to you. and if you believe in something just to have something to look forward to. then you dont really believe it. you only want to believe it. i hate religion because it segregates us! there are many people who are hated on because of their beliefs and that is just ignorant! i also hate people who say they believe something and act differently. saying you believe something doesnt prove anything. the way you act shows whats really in your heart. i dont believe in god and i know im a better person then most of the people that do. and thats all that really matters. just be a good person and treat everyone equally and that would end half of the problems in our world. peace! |

my philosophy was that religion was created for the sole purpose of bringing the world together...but then more religions sprang up everywhere else too for that same purpose...to bring people together but which in turn led to conflict between the religions. soooo their plan backfired and is stilll backfiring. :)

The sixth day God created people
And the seventh day people created God.
(hey, I don't know if these are the things he created. This is what I vaguely remembered. Ask Kwikkness what the right order and statements should be :D (no offense)). |
