Who was most instrumental in the rise of trance (1999)?

Just wanted to know where everyone's loyalties lie.

Personally I go with Ferry Corsten because he did it on both the DJ and Production side of things.

Guys ... enough already ... [i]TIESTO[i] the most influential trance DJ in '99??!! :eek: :eyespop:

Tiesto was a total unknown to any but a few hard core dutchies, until that remix of 'Silence' got on the Gatecrasher SSS compilation and cracked the UK charts a few weeks later, this happened in the summer of 2000.

I would have to say starting early '99..PVD..and Oakenfold. Then comes Ferry, Tiesto, Armin....etc,etc...

id definatly go with ferry corsten, he was pretty much the driving force in the uplifting trance sound.

anyoen who votes for tiesto is a gimp, he was back then and you should know it.
