i've been messing around with guitar rig a lot lately, it's an amazing piece of software. some of the amp simulators sound ty, but some sound absolutely amazing. it makes my 20 watt crate amp sound like a marshall when you tweak it enough.. so much fun.
anyways the problem i'm having is even when using ASIO drivers, with 12ms latency, and less than 30% of my CPU being used, i still get occasional clicks and pops every minute or so that last for about five seconds. mind you i'm running my amp through a cheap SBLive external- would getting a better soundcard make a difference? i assumed it wouldn't since i'm using ASIO drivers. |
