I checked out Ogrish a few weeks ago out of boredom and there was a video of something similar in a South American country. There were a number of camera angles provided by various people recording the incident with cell phone videos, but a rapist was beaten viciously to death in the middle of the street. He was then set on fire much to the applause of an audience. Then he was, again, beaten (yeah, he was already dead and charred), this time as a pinata, which included children with bats.
also, in America, we give our convicted rapists beans and blankets. |

| I can't condone those kinds of actions even if the guy was scum and even if in her situation I'd do the same thing. If everyone was allowed to dish out whatever form of justice they thought was appropriate whenever they wanted to, I doubt it would be a very nice society to live in. |

I feel the same way, but if this was an occasional occurance, I wouldn't mind. |

it's ridiculous pride, my uncles from spain usually tell me stories of how most Spaniards (the correct terminology) despise american tourists, and I witnessed great discrimination when i lived there.
i love spain though, and i think it all depends on where you are and where they come from. Some of the northern regions are a bit more violent (think rebels) than southern folk who are usually friendlier... |
