True, but it's created to somehow rationalise their actions and make it seem like what they did to get banned wasn't breaking rules, it was merely their pour souls being oppressed by the internet overlords. It's like people who went to jail harping on about how awesome they are for breaking laws and being "rad dawg" for actually serving jail time.
"Silly" as you said is the key word here. Meh. |
