Everything was stored in boxes, by month year etc. They only had to take the boxes and load them into the truck(s). If it wasn't stored that well, they would never be able to do it so fast.

god, i have to say that you must be stupid to keep all your colelction in a garage, its the most common place tha burglars go for. i keep all my choons in my bedroom, all locked up to. they mean more to me than the house im living in. still feel sorry for the guy though, id be gutted to loose my 500 collection let alone 16,000

Hmmm ... storing 16,000 records in my BEDROOM ... don't know what the girlfriend would have to say about that :D

That sucks so much. First BT, then Hybrid, and now Precision.

i dont think any of us can comprehend how much 16000 records are seriously you would have too get like a truck or some i feel really sorry for the guy i hope he gets most (Or all!) of them back and they haven't been ruined! but i spose if you look at it this way there is a very good chance of getting it back because it must be pretty damn hard to store 16000 records :) unless they have distributed them all around but even soo thats alot of records...

Damn I raelly CAN'T imagine how they could carry away 16k Records, omfg! I nearly got 700, and if I'm watching them I can't imagine how they have done this!

All I can say is it sucks to be DJ Precison.....

To all vinyl junkies, remember to insure your vinyls....no matter how rare they are....

Once they are gone, that is it....Look at BT and Hybrid...no news of recovery...

I insured my records and my home stuff for $ 25,000. That should pretty much cover it...

Till next time...this is some sad ing news....

16,000 records at $12.00 a piece adds up to $192,000. thats alot of cash spent on records. :eyes:
