I know , but what are the waveforms involved? I mean i tried using sawtooths in Gladiator with unison and all , but still cant get this sound.. |

Ick, wheres the bass? Not my cup'o'tea.
My first impression when hearing that is to use a synth with two separate filters, they aren't in serial sequence. The first filter is a lower octave oscillator(s), lowpass it. The second filter has upper octave oscillator(s). BANDPASS that one. Thats my impression from the ty youtube sound quality. |

Well I actually tried that half an hour ago , I could get the effect but couldn't get the sound , apparantly i did something wrong or something is missing but i dont know what ..
I might upload a sample of the bass later , or tomorrow. |

sounds like tb's and acid run through hipass filters as the guys in above post said sylenth will do it |

It's sounds like these that are vital to getting the energy of your track. Spend alot of time working on patch creation and different methods for creating these driving high bass / mid synth riffs.
For these sounds I would def use a saw patch but instead of a bandpass try a hi-pass and run an EQ after to remove the bass frequencies.
Maybe choose a synth with a hollow/thin character like synth1? 1 min with it last night easily got a nice background riff going:
