Something about this trailer makes me incredibly hyped. Apart from all the explosions, the other portions very well make it out to be a potential sci-fi epic, right there with Terminator 2.

Danny Elfman began composing the score in January 2009. Beforehand, McG had the idea to hire Gustavo Santaolalla, who he got to speak with, to work on the human themes, while having either Thom Yorke or Jonny Greenwood for Skynet's themes.However, he managed to meet with The Terminator and Terminator 2 composer Brad Fiedel. McG was not interested in repeating the sounds Fiedel achieved in his films but still wanted Elfman to use those themes and ambient sounds, and give them a "Wagnerian quality"
McG explained, "We want to make the best film possible. We just don't care about the rating. We don’t aim for the rating and we've been given the freedom by the head of the studio to just make the best picture possible. That's very, very freeing. We're just going to make the movie." |

| Everyone rips on this because McG is directing (including me), but he also directed We Are Marshall (his most recent movie). Wasn't that supposed to be good? I honestly don't know. |

i listeneddd to the wordsss he'd say, but in his voice i heard decay. the plastic face forced to portray, all the insides left cold and gray. there is a place that still remains, it eats the fear, it eats the pain. the sweetest price he'll have to pay.........the day the whole world went away

haha the movie does look pretty sweet BUT... I'm kinda getting sick of Bale's raspy voice thing he's doing now. He was talking in the trailer like he's still Batman. |
