i loved him as mr bean.but to me he will always be blackadder!i loved that show so much! but i was happy he wound up doing mr bean cuz it was good to!

I found Mr. Bean really funny up until about 13... These days, whenever I watch him, it never ceases to amaze me how not funny he is now.

i think your talking about the show he did in the early 80's i think it was.. called 'not the 9 o clock news' with mel smith, who was part of another comedy duo, called smith and jones, with griff rhys jones :)

nah, the first vid and the one I posted are from a stage show, not a tv show.
It was recorded and released on VHS (at the time).

yup just went and found it on my shelf, its called "Rowan Atkinson Live", the other performer is Angus Deayton.

I can't stand to watch him. I get the whole "british humor" thing... but dear god, I want to watch humor that's clever! Bean is for toddlers. Or infants.... like the Teletubbies (which, by the way, I urge you not to watch while stoned. Creepy as !).
