Yeah, but some TI users would have to answer that.

I don't think Cubase SX3 has any easy way to do this. In Cubase 4 we can route to another audio channel and record on that, but this wasn't around in Cubase SX3. I think you will need to just bounce and import. Total ing pain in the ass IMO.

Reaper actually has a thing where you right click on a MIDI part and select "render fx to new track" and will apply whatever is in the fx chain to audio. Such a simple but awesome feature. Steinberg really have their heads up their asses most of the time :(

Wait, sorry, I don't know what I was thinking lol.

How do you have it set up in Cubase? Do you have a MIDI channel going out and an audio channel for return? If so, just push record in the audio channel. If you are using the hardware management features of Cubase, wait for someone else to tell you - I've never used it.

u can record easily in Cubase 3.

Just press F4 add the appropriate input channels, add an audio channel in the arrangement and set the input to the correct audio channel and press record when the Virus is playing.

But yeah the Cubase 4 routing features are great, and makes things alot easier. I believe u can record VST`s and everything that way.

this is what i got confused on :p

i've only got cubase studio, so whenever i've used a synth in cubase i used a midi and audio channel, not the "hardware insert" method. i forgot that its not literally the same as a vst.
