Thanks for the detailed review Oscar, I was being pretty critical of myself but when I listen to my own stuff all I hear is the mistakes. I was mainly upset with my EQing work, it was just sloppy. I need to stop recording while I'm stoned, I tend to get impatient and lazy and it shows. :p

:D

I love this post!

DLing now.

Quoted for truth. Altough I also go to Genres>View Releases>Last 7/14/21/... Days, put it in display by track format and quickly go down the lists.

What's the track at 52? It reminds me massively of MPX_309.

I really liked this, it was more consistent than Dog Days. However, while this was consistently good, there were some real standouts in Dog Days that this mix didn't top (namely Along The Wire and that awesome Extrawelt track at the end).

Mixing seemed pretty good to me (except the one at 65 mins), and although I found the start a bit cruisy, by the end this was really moving. Great progression. I didn't know any of the tracks, but then again I'm not really actively "in" the tech scene, despite going to events pretty much every week!
Ted Promo
This was decent. Some of the tunes weren't entirely to my liking. I'm glad I decided not to buy that Chelonis track :p

Overall the tunes were solid and the mixing was serviceable. The flow still needs a bit of tweaking in my opinion, but even I don't have that down yet :wtf:

Keep it up.

That would be Slam - Ghost Song [Joris Voorn Remix].

Thanks a lot for checkin it guys. I actually tweaked a bunch of settings with my midi controller over the weekend and it's helped tremendously. I'm really considering picking up an external soundcard, I'm getting sick of not being able to cue a track, every time I do a mix I pretty much just hope it ends up working out.

small bump as well
:)

I may be late to the party but I can tel lyou that that is definitly NOT the case here. I'm not gonna say it's miles ahead of Dog Days but it's at least as good, that's for sure. But it's also somewhat different. The main point I was able to draw from this mix is that it's very relaxed in its nature. The transitions are slow, simple and smooth. Even the music, if I can even remember what Dog Days was like (track wise), leans towards minimal a little more. It's groovy and funky but in the minimal sense. For example your track list is not very long, yet you did stretch it out to over 80 minutes. But honestly man, this set was solid. I found it was somewhat lacking in momentum at times, but it would eventually pick up and have me tapping my foot uncontrollably.

Sorry I can't write more detailed feedback. Although I only listened yesterday I cannot seem to recall any specific thoughts I had while listening to the set other than that the music was very good and the pace was overall quite easy going.
Az
