| sports discussion is generally dead so starting a thread here. anyone else been paying attention? overall uneventful. as a somewhat rangers fan i guess i feel bad for dawes and prucha going to phoenix but we knew the prucha thing was coming. |

| well to be fair nobody wanted avery they got him off waivers. i would say phoenix did well...can't go wrong with draft picks. my avs were eh can't do much when you are the last in the west. glad they didn't let go of hedjuk but there are still deals we might not have heard about |

I think Calgary and NYR are the winners from the West and East this year. |

| lets not forget the GM of the coyotes was the assistant GM of the rangers two years ago maybe he knows something we don't...i'm still eh on that particular trade. |

probably but he is leaving the worst team in the league, upgrade! also he might provide good leadership they need someone older with experience winning on the team. |
