| Damn. I heard about this, then saw a promo movie with audio snippets on Youtube and I am sold. I pre-ordered this. Can't wait for it to arrive at my local music store. |

I was finally able to listen to both CDs last night with my girl and...we were both MIGHTILY impressed :tongue2
imo THIS is how we ALL want trance to be.
The way Orkidea described CD1 on the first page here hits the nail on the head :

that can be labeled as "trance" but is quite different to what that word usually means nowadays. |
Exactly what i meant by saying THIS is how we all want trance to be ;) |

Went ahead and picked this up on Beatport since people are enjoying it so much on here.
A refreshing compilation that should get a lot of playing time on my stereo and car. The biggest impression that I am getting from this compilation is replayability. I feel like I'll catch and element or a groove that is different every time I listen to it. CD 2 is a little better than 1 imo. |

| So the samples of this sort of piqued my interest, I'll give it a go, been ages since I've looked into a trance comp. |

| All I gotta say is wow!!!! This is the best trance comp to come along in a long, long time. No cheese and def not a vanbuurenathon. As Orkidea put it: perfect for driving - maybe through the middle of the desert on a full moon - pure and simple bliss, like a suspended state of pensive and contemplative animation. If you don't have this yet, it is well worth the money and shows how much effort Rich put into it.:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: |

Beatport for 2 full-length mp3s, Solarstone.co.uk for mixed mp3s of each track. |

This is just my opinion but I think this might be the best trance-compilation this year has offered so far. This album doesn't have too many highlights but overall level is really good. I also love the style this offers. I love eaxctly this kind of energetic trance. There is no overbuzzing "electro"-basslines, no 3-minute long breakdowns, over-the-top supersaws or cheesy vocals telling you about love, angels, unicorns and running naked in the field. The end of first disc (from Slowmotion to the end) is especially good and offers great track after another.
This is totally from different planet when compared to live set I heard from Rich in december. |
