minidiscs are class. no need for tons of e tunes you wont be listening to anyway. just a select few hand picked quality electronic tracks.
not every tune is suited to listening in a car. |

You should start a "Trance to listen in a car" thread...
...or have a blog. |

'trance' isnt so good for the car.. not with heavy synth lines anyway.
techier stuff like...
nick sentience - digital dialogue
u2 - elevation (paul van dyk mix)
or even clubby, housey stuff like the first cd of pvds 'cream ibiza' works well. (second cd is garbage)
straight trance doesnt work well from my experience. sounds out of place and has too much high frequencies. |

What the hell? You are a moron.
For the price of 5 minidiscs you could have a new car stereo that plays CDs or mp3s. |

5 minidiscs cost around £6. dont know what stereo you have or what your smoking, but your way off. mines is a kenwood.
plus the fact there are already more MDs in the car than i'll ever need! and they are re-writable.
why would i want to burn cds (that scratch) when i just can drag and drop tracks to a MD?
as i said i hand-pick my tracks for the car, so its not just any old guff i stick on there - im not after quantity AT ALL. takes me ages to pick out 10 perfect tracks for driving. not interested in 50-track mp3 cds with mostly filler. you are just skipping most of them anyway - stupid and pointless!
just need a few quality minidiscs made up with suitable tracks and im sorted. a few scumfrog, a few picotto, a few hybrid tracks. not looking for 100's of tunes ill never play - its for car use only, moron! |

Go for a Sony MEX-BT3600U (Bluetooth / USB / AUX Handsfree CD Player) + eg 4 GB micro SD
Best deal looking at price/quality/features I think. |
I bought that stereo for my car over Christmas, I think it's brilliant and I would certainly recommend it. Although it doesn't have an SD slot like you suggested, it has a USB slot (very handy). |

its better than your heap i'd bet.
its a lightweight 350BHP spec C impreza. japanese import. only 1000 made.
there she is.
its a trackday car they dont come with electric windows/mirrors, air conditioning, central locking or a stereo. i had to pay to get all the electrics installed again. the previous owner installed a minidisc. |
