FEATURING:
Wahi (Curbed Recordings)
Jimmie Page (Ultra Music Festival)
Mathias Matthew (Migrashun, Brio)
Our first Customer Appreciation Night of the year back in January went over really well, in a huge way!
This time, we're bringing back the Free-For-All event with WAHI, JIMMIE PAGE, and MATHIAS MATTHEW, and it promises to be no different!
WAHI has been on a roll lately, with solid gigs and his release "More Soul, Please" doing very well, presently earning a spot on the BeatPort Top 100. This track was released under his label, Curbed Recordings, which was launched last year, and has caught the ears and eyes of many top-tier global DJs, such as: John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, James Zabiela, Satoshi Tomiie, Mazi and more... He was also featured on John Digweed's show: Transitions, and got some high praise by the man Digweed himself! Make way for the Wahi express!
JIMMIE PAGE has been a long-standing contributor to Chicago's electronic music scene. Dating back to the days of iconic club Shelter, to sharing the decks with much of the global talent that came through the city, and evolving into becoming the host for Energy 92.7/5's weekly coveted mix show, "Clubland Friday Night". There's not too many DJs in the city of Chicago that can claim the resume and longevity of their career that Jimmie can. He is now the resident DJ and host for Ultra Music Festival and Ultra Satellite Radio, and does his part by turning people onto infectious sounds over the airwaves, all over the world!
MATHIAS MATTHEW From humble beginnings, Mathias has transmogrified over the past six years to become one of the Motor Citys most original, wicked and hard-hitting DJs. His love of music and keen ear has always been present, but he did not begin to develop his technical skills until he met one of Detroits original House DJs, G-Major. Since the meeting Mathias has worked hard, putting his best foot forward to master the skills necessary to spread his love for the electronic music culture.
Mathiass early appearances at Necto paved the way for future appearances at: Bleu Room; Exile, Crave, Centre Street, Oslo, Altered State, Trancesphere.com Radio (Rising Star, 2004 Summer Sessions), Fiberline Audio, and Movement Music Festival (Detroits Electronic Music Festival), Northern Lights Lounge and The Works.
In 2005 Mathias began experimenting, exploring tech-house, minimal, electornica, and techno; making it his mission to constantly evolve in order to not only move club-goers, but also touch them. Since, Mathias has re-emerged a more proficient and energetic performer, entertaining club-goers and music lovers with his spirit and signature sound.
Moving into 2009 we see Mathias now performing, promoting and producing in the Windy City of Chicago after relocating in 2008. Along with performing and promoting Mathias has also moved into production and has a few tracks ready to release over the next year. Having played at Venues such as Vision, Tini Martini, Wax and other hotspots Mathias continues to bring to music to the masses. Over the past year he has worked as the Marketing Director of Volatl tm which has helped him gain knowledge about both sides of the fence. Since then Mathias has worked hard to create his own project labeled Migrashun were he hopes to harness the sounds that have moved him mind over the years.
Come see three talented DJs bring you some killer sounds... for FREE. |
