Saturday June 22nd is the Grand Opening w/a 10 hour set from Deep Dish. $25 before 1 am.
*They should provide complimentary cots & pillows* :haha:
Saturday June 29th is battle of the Dannys. Danny Tenaglia Vs. Danny Howells. Doors open at 11pm, 18+ $30

Some are saying it will be the next Twilo. :rolleyes: The space is tiny and dingy. I don't know what to think. Its intimate but its gross.

I've been hearing about this for a while. There is a post from Danny Teneglia about the name change somewhere. I might not be able to make the 22nd but I am planning on attending DT vs DH on the 29th.
I really like Vinyl, even if it is a rathole. But I haven't been since they've made all these changes in the last 3 months, so maybe it is nicer now. I heard they got rid of the stage so it might be a little bigger. I also heard that the SF crowd invaded be yourself Fridays, so that is probably not the time to go.
I really can't see Vinyl replacing Twilo.
If anybody wants to meet-up for either the 15th or the 29th, let me know. |

welcome frumpy. you'll find that the ppl on this forum cater more towards trance and don't really care for JP or the crowd that follows him. maybe someone else will elaborate on why. |

let me INDLUGE on this one mel...hehe im sick of all the SF talk bah bah bah house this house that, its just not my taste...dont get me wrong it, I wouldnt mind being at one of its parties, but i rather prefer trance over anything. its the new york thing, attitude over image unlike in miami where there was no attitude but alot of image. and i guess that is what house music caters to, alot of image (ie: strutting and trendsetting) personally not my thing, I am who I am and not make myself out to be. i think trance is more personal, it touches everyone in a different way. ie: we all have our own personal "mind journey" not so much of following the crowd, but more like leading ourself. often connecting with others who see the same image as we do...ok maybe im wrong, or off the topic but thats how i feel.
oh ya, welcome to TA frumpy =P
hope you enjoy all the news and music we share...its a good group of peeps here which I just recently began to settle in myself. |
